Somehow even though I've posted a million Bookstagram pics of the series, I haven't posted about it on the blog so I thought The Dragonet Prophecy was the perfect book to start off February with our First Pages series. I can see right away why my Bookworm girls were sucked into this series. If you go to watch the beautiful clouds, be sure to take some pictures and add them to this post. And who doesn't want to root for the underdog? Besides the fact that the first few pages of the novel are actually illustrations of the different types of dragons, and THEN, we get this mysterious 'Dragonet Prophecy' (see below) and THEN we get a lovely and intriguing prologue, when we get to the actual true beginning of The Dragonet Prophecy, we start off with a dragon who wants to be a hero.
